Argentina has been selected as the stage for the inaugural Global CannaForum, a new international B2B event that will gather cannabis executives, investors, policymakers, and scientists in Buenos Aires on October 15, 2025.
Unlike consumer expos or cultural festivals, the Global CannaForum is designed with a singular focus: to connect global capital with Latin America’s emerging cannabis opportunities. The event aims to accelerate joint ventures, export projects, and partnerships that could shape the next phase of the industry.
For international cannabis leaders, Argentina is quickly becoming a country to watch. Its market is expanding, industrial-scale projects are underway, and lawmakers are actively reshaping regulation. Organizers say that the combination makes the country an ideal launchpad.
“Today, Argentina is setting the pace for the industry’s growth in Latin America. With an evolving regulatory framework and strong industrial development, it’s a key market for innovation and consolidation,” the event’s organizers explained. Buenos Aires’ international infrastructure and connectivity, they added, make it the natural host city.
The Global CannaForum is capped at around 300 curated participants, emphasizing quality over quantity. The structure prioritizes debate tables, strategic keynotes, and structured networking sessions that go beyond surface-level conversation. For companies looking to enter or expand in Latin America, it’s billed as a serious platform for dealmaking.
The agenda revolves around three central pillars:
The Forum will also be split into two distinct spaces:
Outdoor area: Commercial stands and product showcases designed for visibility and industry activation.

Indoor area: A curated agenda with panels, roundtables, and private B2B meetings among companies, institutions, and industry leaders.
